I know, I know, I'm a little bit late to the comments on this song. I've always taken this song a little differently...maybe it's because I got into this album long before I was happily married with two wonderful kids, but it always seemed more like a song about picking someone up at a club.
Smooth talking the girl into coming home with him. "Aw yeah, alright (right now) we'll spend the night together, wake up and live forever.".
Knowing the type of person Jay Kay was (party animal, lover of women) it just always seemed obvious the meaning of this song was about club lust.
@jblazer21883 yeah, that's been my take, too - maybe not so negative in the connotations, but that 'Ms Right Now' - that passion and joy and excitement you feel for someone for an evening, a happiness that FEELS LIKE this one night WILL LAST FOREVER.
