When he talks about the doctor's fur being wet, along with the crow sounds, it made me think of the plague doctors from Europe (you know them if you played assassin's creed). They always wore crow masks to counter the bad smells that they thought caused the plague. I know birds have feathers and not fur, but it was the foremost imagery in my mind after hearing how he described doctors.
