I always thought it was about a cheating girlfriend/spouse and the protagonists psychotic reaction;

The first two lines are general revenge fantasy. "And the houses you’re haunting Will tremble with temporal hoodoo" refers to the other men's houses she frequents or "haunts" that will befall bad fortunes in his vengeance.

"I don’t know about you, But I am hellbent, I know what it is that I must do"; The first part could be taken as either a question of the other's intent, or that he's simply unsure of her now, either way he is hellbent on vindication. "Close your eyes when we kiss", although it's customary to close one's eyes during a kiss, this could also be his paranoia that she's thinking of someone else while they kiss. "‘Cause I’m prepared to set myself on fire for this" is rather self explanatory.

"And for this your naughty deed, I’m throwing you over my bony knee" I think gives it away. It's rather convoluted though because it sounds as if he knows shes a cheater but is still in a relationship ("Show me what you're good for", she's only good for sex, as a romantic partner she's distant) so it's unclear exactly what his punishment for her entails, however his intent seems more sinister for the men involved ("We know where you sleep" is an overt threat).
