I believe this song is about the ancient flower of life/ MERKABA meditation it's also a sacred geometric structure for conciousness.

(( Breath 1: place your hands in the following, thumb and first finger together, palms up. Empty lungs. Begin the breath taught above. Nostrils only. On the IN breath visualize red light, open your root chakra, HOLD BREATH , pulse the breath, short inhale. Exhale, slowly out of the nose, fill the upper tetrahedron with red light than the lower. Pause, pulse the eyes. ))
" THESE NEEDS HAVE CHANGED SO DEEP" meaning he no longer feels the physical/ material world is empty and cant give the fulfillment he desires but more of the need to be deeply connected to a higher or spiritual source.
" TO FACE YOU ALL AND SAY IVE BEEN AWAKE FOR YEARS/EVER" that he's been sleeping and finally reached some amount of enlightenment "awake"
