Am I the only Replacements fan that likes this song? This song could be a metaphor for a girl losing her virginity. But I think it's actually about a young boy who finds a baby bird that has fallen out of it's nest. The boy takes care of the bird until it is old enough to fly. He is both sad and happy as he sets the bird free.
I love this song but mainly for the general epicness of the sound. The electric guitar riff that occurs throughout is like a potent molasses, rolls over but is simple and good.

@JohnGalt23 I love everything they ever put out, pretty much. I think their last two albums are VERY good and deserve more credit in general. Westerberg is such a fucking genius. My all time favorite band!
