| Tool – Forty Six & 2 Lyrics
|
Lee Carroll channels a consciousness known as Kryon. The video below is from 2017.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IA2xnwW2Y5g&t=760s&ab_channel=KRYON-Channelling
Kryon says the 24th chromosomes are quantum chromosomes. The spiritual awakening that many are in the process of going through right now is activating those 2 chromosomes according to this theory, hence 46+2.
See my shadow changing
Stretching up and over me
Soften this old armor
Hoping I can clear the way by
Stepping through my shadow
Coming out the other side
Step into the shadow
Forty six and two are just ahead of me
This is almost certainly in reference to what many refer to as Lightworkers or what Kryon refers to as Old Souls who are generally the first to go through the change and be sort of like a beacon for the others.
And from what I understand the shift really started on December 21st, 2012. I think this song itself might be like a trigger to help Lightworkers and others along in the ascension process(I know I'm obsessed with it! lol...) as I believe that this is what this song is about. It matches up so well with so many things I have read and understand about the ascension process.

Quicksands SLIP album has so many great songs on it but I think this one might be my favorite. This song is about being in a rut and feeling the like the entire world is against you. The struggle within is a common theme on the entire SLIP album. The hint of perseverance in all the songs is part of what makes them so great. It's funny because the guys from Hot Water Music said Walter is one of the most positive people they've ever met. |

| Tom Petty – Two Gunslingers Lyrics

This is a highly underrated Tom Petty song. I believe this song is about thinking for yourself and questioning things that you've never questioned before. Many people go through life like zombies without actually thinking about or questioning what they are doing. They do what they've always done and or what is expected of them. Sometimes change is difficult and it often displeases the masses. When just one person takes a stand for what he believes is right it often changes the course of history. This song is brilliant. |

This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I'm stunned that not a single person has commented on it. The lyrics are pretty straight forward. A guy talks his friend out of suicide. My favorite line in the song is "There are no easy answers, the questions remain tough. There's no short cuts to Easy Street, no corners you can cut. Can you cut this diamond in the rough?" |

This is the first Quicksand song I ever heard and it's still one of my favorites. This song is about tenacity. Struggling is a big part of achieving success no matter what your goals are. This song is about not giving up. |

This is one of my favorite Quicksand songs. I think this song is about fear of change. The person in this song appears to be very dissatisfied with their life and they are probably very lonely and or depressed. But the fear of failure or even the fear of success terrifies them so much that they end sabotaging what they are trying to achieve. They choose "cold comfort" over change. The lyrics could apply to many situations in life. From relationships, to addiction, to making a career change. This song is brilliant. |

| The Replacements – Merry Go Round Lyrics

I believe this song is about a shy young girl who gets teased by her classmates because all of her clothes are from second hand stores or garage sales. "And they watched you wear the clothes that they claimed that they bought." "In Fall, you knew how much it cost" When school starts up in the fall most kids get to go shopping for new clothes. The girl in this song did not and it made her sad because she just wanted to fit in. I know the feeling, when I was a kid most of my clothes were from garage sales. Once when I was around 12 this girl came up to me in the lunchroom and said "My brothers shirt fits you well." |

I've always felt that this song was about a child who is dying from some type of incurable disease. As far as who's perspective it's from it's hard to say. It could be the Mother, or maybe even an uncle or grandparent. The song is indeed Sadly Beautiful. |

Am I the only Replacements fan that likes this song? This song could be a metaphor for a girl losing her virginity. But I think it's actually about a young boy who finds a baby bird that has fallen out of it's nest. The boy takes care of the bird until it is old enough to fly. He is both sad and happy as he sets the bird free. |

This is such a great song I can't believe nobody has commented on it yet. I think this song is about a very young couple that just graduated High School. The summer is almost over and they are spending their last weeks together before going their separate ways. This song would fit perfectly for the movie ...Say Anything among other High School movies. |

Sonic Youth's version of this song is both haunting and mesmerizing. I find it incredibly dark and depressing and yet irresistible at the same time. I get the feeling that the person in this version is so depressed that they take their own life. Anyone notice at the end of the song after he says "I love you. I really do" there is a sound that sounds like like a gunshot? |

I can't believe nobody has mentioned the movie Powder in regards to this song. If the song hadn't come out before the movie I would definitely think that the movie(specifically the beginning of the movie) was the inspiration for this song. If you haven't seen the movie Powder... check it out. It's quite good. Every time I hear Lightning Crashes I always think of the movie Powder. |
