Cover art for Last Words lyrics by Thousand Foot Krutch

People say this song is about someone who is writing a letter to a loved one who wants to commit suicide. Thousand Foot Krutch is my all time favorite band and ive listened to all of their songs(even small to say, feel the place go boom, and heat miser) a billion times. Last Words does have lines that make you think that, but i dont really think that way because i have listened to this song and played this song on guitar for friends who want to give up their life. I feel like at times this song is someone saying an apology to someone they've hurt in other ways then suicide. Trevor McNeavan (or whoever it could apply to) is giving out an apology to his family for leaving them like they were nothing. His/Her mom doesnt feel like suicide but maybe his/her father or brother or sister or other family member who is sensitive and might have problems with suicide. The opening verse to the sounds like an apology letter so that's how it makes me think of an apology letter. This is an amazing song and i love to play for people because i do my best to show love to those who need it most. God bless:)
