I always thought the "colors blend" part was referring to being sick, because he'd just been talking about being sick "all over" and then he is offended by the "frankly vulgar" red pullover causing him to throw up. I imagine Morrissey is actually the one wearing the red pullover, some sort of nerdy jumper.
But now I realise its "two colors" so now I'm not so sure. Is it mixing two drinks together? Is a two tone coloured red pullover?
@parkster I take it to be (literally) the colour of the pullover and the sick blending together. I also take it to mean different types of people - the people talking deeply all the time, and those who are not so intense about everything. I think Morrissey is saying sometimes it's refreshing not to be deep and meaningful all the time and you can be relaxed and flippant from time to time and it's fine.
