It's sort of already been said but this is what the song means to me (way lengthy). I think that this could be a happy but also a potentially sad song (depending on the direction that destiny takes).
This is what she sees and this is what she hopes/wants desperately wants to believe. It's all about her who is madly in love with her guy - she's never been able to figure out how he really feels for her, often convincing herself that it was nothing more to him then sex.
She can't stop thinking (lies awake) and she finally sees a clearer picture (comes to ground). She's always been confused between what it is (watching porn-sex) and what she wants it to be (dressing gown-romance). So she still dreams about him and what it could be.
