This song isnt about sex. People dont understand these things unless theyve gone through a similar situation and ive been through exactly what this song is about, its about how you can drown out your pain with music.  "A lonely life where no one understands you, but dont give up, because the music do"  JD is saying how no matter how misunderstood you are, music while always understand.  Twisted Transistor, meaning messed up radio/messed up music, is about a young girl who's self-hateful and abused verbally and/or physically, and how music comforts her no matter what she goes through, even if shes locked in her room sobbing and completely alone, how the lyrics can make you feel so much less lonely and almost become an addiction. I can relate to and understand this since when i was a young(er) girl (im only 14 atm), i was verbally abused and bullied really badly and was, at one point, suicidal because of it, this song (and some other korn songs) showed me i wasnt alone and helped me pull through. When you get that down, comfort becomes addictive, and you just cant get enough, and when your away from it you almost have withdrawl since no one understands you and wont listen even when you scream.  PS- 'vibrations coming through' doesnt mean she uses a vibrator, music IS vibrations, all sound is, and all the bass in music played loud enough can make you shake and feel the vibrations.

This song was written to preach to the lonely and desperate, and comfort them through their pain. Thanks -JR

Fascinating...truely. And although I agree with you in principle, there can come a time when music (like anything overused like food; prescription pills; risky sex; gambling; alone time; etc) can become a crutch. If one spends more time listening to music hidden away from the world than s/he has forsaken his own voice...and allowed music to speak for him. Giving ones power away for any reason is not good. We all need comfort, but too much of anything takes away from its intended use of healing; motivating; calming; invigorating; etc. Music, for some, becomes their voice. We need to live...

thats true~ i just got frustrated by everyone saying that this ones more for the beat than lyrics, and you youre not annoying, i like hearing others oppinions
