I was wondering what about the part "one room full of walls" what that is supposed to mean? to many things dividing them, is this what he want's to say... they arrived to a point where it seems that are dozens of walls between them?
I think by "One room full of walls" he might mean that they are both trapped in a single room with just walls, no windows no doors, noting. As before hand he says "If you fail to see the problem" meaning if you can't see that what you are doing is wrong then we are trapped in a vicous circle.
