The Song is clearly about religion that causes wars and problems and then they see it with abosulute indifference... however, i thave to become claer that one thing is the religion, other is the ones who win some previlge with that, for example the biggest problem Christianity had since it appear was the Vatican, Probably the biggest Mafia Group ever, when something is associated for bad reasons with christianity Vatican is always behind... Many religions are created to join people, but then they start to win somthing more with that... nowadays the free man is the one who had a relligion but don't let himself corrupt by anyone or anthing in that relligion... and if we are talking about it nowadays is because we had mans like Lutther and Makiavel who fronted not the religion but the ones who were in front of it, creating their own valid interpretations of the bible |

This is really a great song as portuguese i know what the last verbs really want to mean, IN opiario poem of Alvaro de Campos, OPium is what makes him forgot some other things, makes him almost traveling to another place, but when that feeling is over he felts even worst than in the beginning, this song really demonstrate the force of opiario... This is really close to something in Fernando Pessoa poems called hurt of thinking(don't know the real word in english) is dor de pensar(how much he thinks the worst he feels) and opium is the only way to runaway from the bad thoughts... the verse bring me for another dream demonstrates that... |
