I love som much the essence. It was a band that my father used to listen in the 80's. when i was 16/17 i began to steal his discs to listening to new things less lame than the radio and i found them. i remember my little sister wearing this shirt of a essence's show, using it like a pyjamas.
My father has the 7" of this song and the album in cd. that was the discs i listened the most for some months.
I think they really was stay behind the shadow of the cure, the parallel is easy to make. the people i try to "convert" to this song seems to think its a lame rip off the cure. but i love their simplicity. i feel good when i listen to them.
