The way I see this song is that he is in love with a girl but he has Seasonal Affective Disorder...where he gets really depressed during the winter and he just can't take it and no matter how much he loves this girl he just can't be happy unless he leaves and finds better weather. I know its a stupid interpretation but its kind of what im going through...I really like this girl that I'm with but as soon as I graduate I am leaving for the Keys because these Michigan winters just kill me and its gonna be tough to leave her but I just cant live here anymore.
