I like to think it's about giving into the way the world works and working at the job that has no meaning to you and keeps you empty, but you do it because you need the money.

-You see your friends and family nicely tolerating or being happy/exceling at their repetitive, meaningless jobs and you don't understand that at all. You don't recognize anything in them that you recognize in yourself.

Feeling defeated and giving in, since you can't figure life out and have made a mess of it any how.Just going the path society tells you you need to go. Working that dead-end job for the money...
