I think this song is about how everything is always changing, there are few, if any constants in life. The second verse "Well it's there under your breath, behind your eyes / And you don't have to say nothing cause I realize / That everything somehow in someway eventually dies / It's life in disguise" seems like its about a relationship in which one person has lost feelings and interest while the other is still in love, and without even having to say it out loud, it is recognized and accepted.
