So, I'm confused...is this a Christian band or what? Trying to make a connection here with the lyrics to something spiritual or faith-based but it ain't easy. Only thing I can come up with is with Christ's death and something close to what He may have been thinking as He was going to the cross.
Dunno, just seems like another song about not wanting to get back together with someone who's hurt you before (possibly multiple times). If so, dunno what's so Christian about having that kind of relationship, surely it's not Christ-centered...

This song isn’t from a Christian point of view it’s talking about being afraid to follow Christ and doubting that he is the truth and will never leave you. It’s not that they don’t want to be with Christ it’s that they doubt they’re good enough for Him and He will leave if they follow Him.
