I think it's about someone (probaly a guy) with a contuing drive to destroy to feel power.
Sounds a bit like battery to me, or fuel and benzin?

I think the 4 lines before the last 2 are about that he has finally found someone who shares
his drive to destroy which can finally give him peace in his hart.
to thank her for that he makes a wish for her to see.
The wish is granted but again the fact that it happens the same night (i guess the urge comes back in jus a few hours) proves that his urge to destroy is unstoppable
