I'd also like to offer the point of view that the subject is trapped outside of himself, not necessarily shutting out the world with a metaphorical wall... for instance:
The sun will shine like never before.
One day I will be ready to go
see the world behind my wall.
This sounds like there's a part of himself that he doesn't understand, and he feels that one day he will find it and come to terms with it. On the other hand, there is some flip-flopping between the verse and chorus, and this might be a translation thing. However, it could make sense that if this supposition was true, then the subject might have to take other people's observation that he is beautiful on the inside for face value. Just saying.
