I think the story is pretty self explanatory but to add my two cents,i seen him live last week in dublin and he talked about most of his songs b4 he played them. When speaking about this he said he was going out with a really great girl who he was madly in love with and still is,but the time wasnt right and that he still hopes that somewhere down the line,maybe 10 yrs or whenever that they will still end back up together.was kinda romantic,he had every girl in the venue weak at the knees....
