I think what they're doing, is actually calling their fans out. Normally in a situation like this speaking in the first person is tongue-in-cheek, but it sounds to me like he's referencing KMFDM's general ideals and how their fans (most of which are pompous douchebags) gobble it up.
I agree. What makes KMFDM great is how their lyrics have several layers of meaning. At the end of the day, they're a band, not a political party; fans take them way too seriously and attribute way too much to them.
