Anyway, this song seems to be about falling in love with a "player", in my opinion. As sgtsledge has stated, the ring obviously represents marriage, and marriage most usually represents a deep love.
Everyone wants the woman he has fallen in love with, because she's so beautiful, but he wants her all for himself. Unfortunately, his love is a total whore and grows tired of him. He sees her with man after man, and it makes him jealous. He believes she should belong to him, and he despises all of those she has been with.
