I can't believe no one has commented on this song before! It's just the most angelic sound i've ever heard besides perhaps sigur ros.

It feels to me like a sort of gospel song really. 'come lay down in the water' (reminds me of baptism), 'we're all sons and daughters', 'rest your head on the altar' (a church reference possibly?) and 'these silent offerings' (perhaps prayer) for me all have religious connotations. If not that, then to me it sort of has a feeling of a loss of childhood and innocence and growing up into an adult.
