it's basically after she's lost someone - it doesn't even have to be a lover. it could be a friend or relative or someone close. she's been lethargic and in that state of disbelief and shock where you don't fully understand it, and when she states, "Oh my God" it's her realization that that loved one really is gone for good ("Oh you're gone").
Whenever I listen to this song, I can't help but imagine finding a dead body in a bath tub. "...Keeping the bath warm..." Someone committed suicide... or had too much to drink and fell asleep in the bath.
