I love the random piano! it's hilarious. but this song is so swell. the first time I heard it I didn't like it, then I listened to it again a few months ago all the way through and that huge climax into the sweet little guitar "Your skin's so fair" part completely captured my heart. I feel like all the way up to the "Your skin's so fair" section, she's basically throwing down a lover, if that makes sense. She's angry at them and is thinking of everything wrong with that person. Then, she finally remembers something absolutely lovely about that person that is the one thing that captures her heart. |

I adore this song like no other. it's basically after she's lost someone - it doesn't even have to be a lover. it could be a friend or relative or someone close. she's been lethargic and in that state of disbelief and shock where you don't fully understand it, and when she states, "Oh my God" it's her realization that that loved one really is gone for good ("Oh you're gone"). |

I absolutely adore this song! :D I wish more of her music was more 11:11-esque because she totally uses her voice more. My favorite part is definitely the "it's mine," part. it's such a weird and beautiful way how she uses her voice on it! :) |

wow, I can't believe no one has commented! Such a great song. I love Katie Todd - her voice is so casual and unique. It's surprising how unknown she is. It took me a few minutes to try interpreting this. I had to read through the lyrics over and over. I think she's looking back on a guy that she loved very much who died in a plane wreck, and she's trying to get over and through the pain of her loss. This song is so eery and just absolutely GORGEOUS. |

I always thought that by using the word "gay" she meant stupid or something. You know? Like how when something is considered lame or whatever to someone they say, "That's so gay." This song definitely shouldn't be taken literally. If she was gonna bash gay people, she wouldn't have come out with a song called 'I Kissed a Girl'. |
