To me this song reflects an eating disorder my friend struggles with:

"Dead is the new alive, despairs the new survival." Because she's so tiny she looks dead, and to her survival is not eating, being hungry.

"A pointless point of veiw" Is how she thinks she's fat when she's tiny.

"You play the game, you never win" No matter how small she gets she's not tiny enough.

"A casket built for two" Sometimes anorexia is classified by a girl named 'Ana' who many talk about as if she's real.

"What is peace, without a blessed fight?" The peace she finds on the scale, being a pound lighter, only comes with fighting herself not to eat.

"A quick taste of the poison, a quick twist of the knife. When the obsessionw ith death, when the obsession with death becomes a way of life" The poison is food, almost as bad as a knife cutting her. The obsession with death, the obsession of looking dead, becomes a way of life. Anorexia.

That really speaks to me, I didn't even think of that, and I used to be anorexic. It was really awful, just living for nothing but to be skinny and thinking it was pretty when really my ribs were showing and I looked really disgusting. I can't believe it's me when I look back at pics of myself from back then. This is one of my favorite songs and now it'll remind me of the struggle that I fortunately survived.
