i think it mite be about a person he loves who keeps herting him but he keeps going back and devouring/loving her even though she brings him pain.

you can be in love and get yr heart broken and go through a shit load of pain, and it doesnt matter, it'll keep happening, its not like pain is ashamed to repeat itself and after a while its just gonna be like 'ok ive done enough messing up this persons life, i should stop now'
