I Love America Lyrics

'Pocket Fisherman' and 'Crazy Glue' were two products often sold on US television in the late '70s and early '80s.

The pocket fisherman was a plastic folding fishing reel and reel. A cheap toy every ten-year-old had to have.

Crazy glue was simply cyanoacrylate. The commercial often featured a guy wearing a hard hat glued to steel beam and presumably hanging dangerously high above a construction site with only the amazing bonding strength of Crazy Glue staying sure death.

The song highlights stereotypical redneck attitudes accurately. Satirizing while simultaneously complimenting ‘Wonder Bread White' American cultural of which I’m guilty of being a member.

And yes, I also loved what the Indians did to Custer.
