no comments? well i'm not sure the whole meaning but it seems to be about a girl who is searching for love and keeps getting rejected... the middle verse starting with "her smile sketched and painted..." i dont think was written write, because i took the last two lines as "either way her wings will burn, unless she learns to turn and fly away" and i thought that was an allusion to the story of Icarus... the boy who flew too high and his wings melted
so those lines would mean that this girl needs to come back to reality and stop looking for love at such high standards
