well, first of all this cd is amazing (they never dissapoint me)
and second this is one of the best songs on the album,
its perfect..
its about someone whos generally giving you mixed signals but primarily killing you because they are blinding your good senses... you should get away from them but you care for them too much. and i think that most people want to be on the same page with others so that they dont have to say or do certain things...that it will be kind of an unspoken agreement.
so maybe he means that he understands that nothing good is going to come out of the situation (like a descent relationship or anything meaninfull) and that he just wants to pick up where they left off and not make a big issue out of the fact that shes screwing him...
its just something he doesnt want to make a big deal about because then once again reality sets in for him everytime the conversation comes up....why cant we?
