I love how Jim changes a nice tune by the band with his lyrics. Its such a happy song but the lyrics Can't you see me growing, get your guns always threw me off. I thinks its about a suicide cult Jim being the leader, I love the repetition of follow me down, bury all your cares in the sand of the earth and follow me to a better place.
you know,im not sure, but for some reason this song always makes me think of Jesus coming down for his speech on the sermon on the mount, telling all of the people to follow him and their lives will be complete. I really dont think thats what Jim may have been getting at, but its just an idea and that what the song reminds me of.
