I think this song is about ghosts, this is because it keeps saying "They came in..." and never specify how. Also it says in the song "You'll never see there faces at all.." obviously ghosts are mostly invisible. "The know my fears and cry in my tears" line represents the fact that they know how true fear feels, most 'ghosts' traditionally have a ghastly death and come back to haunt, and the "cry in my tears" is meant to represent the idea that the 'ghosts' have felt extreme pain.
One line I don't get though is "They came in the phone that I'm in and threw the face on my wall"
