This is a beautiful song and one of my favorites off of Eco. Its calming and almost hypnotic, it could lull you into sleep if you let it.
For me, its about hope. I think the message is clear. "Creo que he visto una luz al otro lado del rio". I believe I see a light at the other side of the river. He's rowing and rowing, knowing the task is great but inside, he smiles. Because he knows that on the other side is the thing he's wishing for. There's so much depth here, so much quiet joy.
