Anyway, the song is about describing the conflict a socially and politically aware person goes through when everything and everyone around them is working against them. Most of the song describes all the temptations someone has, to just assimilate and be done with it. The song basically states this in the first sentence:
"when the people of the country have forgotten how to disagree and the national economy is said to be o.k. and the wages that you get will help you to forget will you keep your ideologies or throw them all away?"

"so what's your main priority? remain in the majority who never really cared?"
