you know, at first, i thought the only part that was based around the notebook was that part in the chorus when he says "if you're a bird, then i'm a bird". but if you really listen to it, this WHOLE song is based around the notebook. 'cuz noah stays with alley until she dies, and then he actually loves her so much, that he ends up dying with her.
and the whole second verse is like, when noah is at the home with her, and their kids come to visit and they tell him to come home. and he tells her that he can't 'cuz their mother is his home, and he's supporting her, and he's just glad she's still breathing.
idk, it just really sounds like the whole movie to me. i love this song, i gave it to my boyfriend on his c.d i burned for him :P
and these boys are geniuses, they know every girl can't resist this movie, an ultimate chick magnet song for them ;) hahaha.
