i totally agree with the song being about an abusive relationship.. "It’s in the way he says he loves It’s never enough I wish that he could feel inside What its like I lost my way I couldn’t face til one day My world came crashing down I had to break " he always tells her that he loves her, but she knows that its not enough to stay, she wants him to know how she feels, but of course he wont...she didnt know what to do and she broke down "No no no no no You took a bite you spit me out a million times before I’ve heard them shout you couldn’t change It’s a shame I’m a nobody I’m a nobody" he "took a bite" makes me think of him beating her..people warned her about him when they shouted...she couldnt change his abusive ways, and she belittles herself and thinks of herself as a nobody because of it

"tears away wears away my heart from a baby to the little girl this girl I know she had the perfect life was the perfect wife had the perfect life was the perfect" it eats her alive..the little girl she refers to is herself...the whole "perfect" thing i imagine as a lie..she leads a life of self hatred, but she lies and says everything is just "perfect", when in reality it isnt

but thats just my opinion..such a great sad song
