isn't there a part that goes
"i saw the devil in your eyes last night, and it scared me half to death" and then something else before the angel's wings part
and the next verse sounds to me like:
"if i bought(find?) you an elephant, would you ride it around?
if i bought/find you a cross to hang on, girl, would you burn it down?
if i told you i loved you, would you still kick me out?"
i dont know the last part though, perhaps something about a fish in your mouth
also, i always thought "another great -------" was "a thousand red rabbit's feet hanging around your neck"
but that's just what i hear when i listen to it haha
