most ppl think of death when they hear this song but i think it can be taken in another way. when i hear it i think that it is about a guy and a girl who are in a relationship and are just apart from each other for whatever reason and the guy starts to think about things like how they met and some of the good times they had and starts to miss the girl. when he does this tho he becomes sad and realizes he needs her more than anythin and since they cant be together he just looks up at the stary night sky and thinks that god or the angels up there are watching over her and that nothing bad could happen
