I will agree i think it shows there are people who are born into happiness and others who are always striving to feel joy.
I think Morrison could never feel fully fulfilled inside. Morrison preferred the night, he preferred to feel moody and lost in his own emotions. He was a spiritual person, and he lived a life many would question. I believe that's why the Doors were such a fundamental rock group, they showed that dark side of music. They were way before their time; so many groups today don't even mirror the talent of the doors. For anyone looking to better understand Morrison or The Doors i would highly recommend reading "No one Here Gets Out Alive" or "Riders on the Storm".
