I had forgotten that George Harrison produced this song for Badfinger. Actually, I was mistaking it for a Beatles song when it got stuck in my head today. Leon Russell played the piano part in the studio version. He's from my hometown of Tulsa.

In addition to George Harrison, Mal Evans (who was a road manager and personal assistant to the Beatles) produced a bunch of their stuff and they were on the Apple label.
