I was about 15 when the smash album came out. I played that cassette like crazy. The other day I'm driving my 13 yr old step daughter to the library and she asks if she can pick a song on the MP3 player and what the hell does she pick? Smash! I'm like, "what hell do you think you're listening to?" She explained that she downloaded all my songs on her MP3 player and has been listening to them for a while now. I asked her if she really liked the song and she thought it was bad ass. I turned it up. It's a vicious cycle and I love it. I hate how damn trendy her school is with all the little aeropostale hollister heads posing all the time. I'm trying to teach my kids something besides material gain and mass hypnosis and I can't think of a better song.
