Hmm, I always link this song to those monumental mistakes we all make that really hurt the people we don't mean to and learning to live with them. At the end of the day, no matter how bad you may have messed up, all you can do is carry on and keep in mind that someday people might find it in themselves forgive you or a least give you the chance to redeem yourself.
It's a brilliant song, always picks me up when I'm feeling down.
