Well this entire album is about death and coming to terms with it! This song i think is about those few moments before one dies. I think Tom is trying to tell someone that theres nothing to fear, that death is natural, that you should be smiling cos youve had a good innings and that your loved one is here to hold your hand.

People do this, I think its quiet awful. Something happens on the road and people dont concentrate on anything else but trying to catch a glimpse of the injured. People have been known to take pictures!!! Is this song trying to look at this in a different way? That people are trying to see this thing happen, were someone goes upto heaven (or wherever you believe) as if they start a journey to a new life and people are trying to witness that journey!
