I think everybody's right. But some people can be wrong too. I have accepted the fact that it's about God, though at the same time it has to be a little bit more complicated than that. I mean, do you speak about God like this:
I never want to leave your arms so i wait in hope for your embrace
illusions of what i thought was love
?
Okay, I do agree it might be a metaphor or such, but still, there has to be a reason why he makes it sound like it's about love, as in love for a girlfriend, or friend, whatever, everything but God.
And I also think, that some of you should be a little more accepting. It's not like there's only one meaning or solution, we all see things in a different way.
We're not searching the meaning this song has to the band, anyway, I'm still answering the question; What does this song mean to you?

My thoughts about this song are rather divided. I guess that beyond everything it's about God, but if you watch more closely, there has to be a relationship on his mind.
