Yoko suffered at least two 2nd trimester miscarriages. I've also lost two babies, and this song, to me, is so clearly about trying to smile and be strong on the outside and not show the terrible pain and grief of losing a child that noone else has seen. (That even now Yoko can still be so strong after all the horrible things that have happened in her life is just amazing.)
