The song's pretty literal... After interceding to kill the lecherous father, the "protagonist" of the album proceeds to "do the deed" with the girl he stalked and was in love with... but he begins to hallucinate that he's Christ, and while engaging in the process of sadomasochistic fantasies, he kills her. He then decides that it was literally the spirit of Christ that possessed him.
My only question is whether the next two tracks (Lusting for Affection and The Last Fantasy of Christ) go along with the rest of the story. They seem to follow the same general plot, but in a somewhat asynchronous manner. Anybody have an opinion on that?
