Dave has finalized the lyrics to this song, now from the point of view from him as a child having a crush on his babysitter.
Earlier version from '06 are clearly from the point of view of an older man having a crush on a much younger girl.
In fact, in Dave's description in his past two shows about it being about his babysitter, he's said... "It all came true", and "Who would've known".
Take that with the current lyric, "One day you're gonna fall for me.", tells me that he's saying "who would've known" that it finally came true. His dream came true. The young babysitter finally has the crush on HIM. But guess what, he's 40 years old now, and it's pretty creepy having a crush on a teenager when you're 40.
So, you can see that although the perspective of the song has changed, it's basically about the same thing. Dave trying to deal with the little girls that are falling for him now. He still has the crush of his childhood, where the infatuation began.
