okay im going to take a guess about this one so bare with me.. hes annoyed at his girlfriend as he feels they have to compete on everything "leaderboard, who's keeping score?
you've got it all but you want more" so then hes not happy with her and then whenever he leaves her he looks back and thinks how fake their relationship is " i didnt think that we'd make it through" she feels theyr fine and ok but he doesnt think hes sure when he chalenges her "put your money where your mouth is" so then hes really thinking about what would happen if he did break up with her "DO YOU KNOW WHERE TO GO IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY?" and when he trys to talk to her about it she put it off "talk about the view" and perhaps he wishes in the end that the relation ship could go back to when it was all simple and away from deep feelings "so dance the dance we used to dance
when you cared less"
