The love she feels is like a 'tumor', something that she normally would never have asked for, wanted, or expected, but arose nonetheless. But, i believe that in this case, the person she falls in love with is her best friend (if we weren't such good friends i think that i'd hate you..). The persona then tries to just take the risk of having a relationship with this man, saying maybe she will be special or 'the lucky one that doesn't get burnt.' She then tries the relationship out, only to find out that it fails just as she expected and gets hurt - just as she had expected. The persona is left wondering - 'what the fuck was i thinking?'
