this song is great because of the imagery. it combines the sounds of a carousel and very neat phrases. i agree the "a l'air libre, les oiseaux- ont eux aussi le vertige" that is my favourite part. i love the fact that everything sounds better in french. Seriously... say in free air birds also have vertigo, and then a l'air libre les oiseaux ont eux aussi le vertige.... it just sounds sweet.
It's one of those times direct translation is not the best... but even the best I can do does not match the French "In the air, free / The bird also suffer vertigo" - it really shouldn't end with a masculine ending.
